Short answer: Setting up replient.ai takes five steps: (1) create your brand, (2) connect your channels, (3) train the AI, (4) answer your first comments and (5) switch on your first automation. After step 2 your comments start to appear in replient.ai, so you can already work with them while you finish the rest.
Before you start
You need admin access to the accounts you want to connect, for example your Facebook Page, Instagram account or TikTok account.
No credit card is needed to sign up. The sign-up page says: 14 days free, no credit card, cancel anytime.
Step 1: Create your account and brand
A brand is the container for your channels, your tone of voice and everything replient.ai learns about you.
Open app.replient.ai/signup and create your account. We send a 6-digit code to your email address. Enter it to activate your account.
Answer the short questions about your goals. You can skip any question with Skip this question.
Enter your Brand name, choose in What describes you best? whether you are a Brand or an Influencer and click Create brand. This choice changes the tone in which replient.ai answers your comments.
You can rename your brand later in Learning (pencil icon next to the brand name). More brands can be added in Settings → Manage brands, depending on your plan.
Step 2: Connect your channels
The sign-up flow takes you to Connect channels next. You can also do this at any time in Learning: click Add additional channels, then choose a channel (1).
Sign in with the platform in the window that opens and grant all requested permissions. You never enter your channel password in replient.ai.
Select the Page or account you want to connect.
Wait until the channel shows Active in Connected social media accounts. While replient.ai still reads your history, you see Learning in progress.
Instagram can be connected in two ways. Choose Instagram (via your Facebook Page) if you run ads, because comments on ads are only available with this connection. Choose Instagram (organic) only if your account is not linked to a Facebook Page.

Step 3: Train the AI (Learning)
replient.ai learns your tone of voice from your past replies on the connected channels. To get better suggestions, add more knowledge in Learning:
Click Add additional sources under Learning sources.
Add your Websites or upload Documents (pdf, etc.) (1), for example your FAQ, shipping rules or price list.
Two more settings on the same page help right away:
Custom instructions tell the AI how to write, for example which words to use or avoid. You can add up to 5 per brand (Pro and higher).
Enable business hours for automations and Configure hours let automations wait until you are open again.
Step 4: Answer your first comments
In the sidebar, click Comments. The Comment view lists your open comments (1). Click a comment to see its thread (2) with sentiment, tags and the post it belongs to. Below the thread, replient.ai shows AI suggestions in your tone of voice. If none are shown yet, click Generate (3).
Pick a suggestion. The first one is the Favorite answer, the others are Alternative answers.
Click Edit if you want to change the text.
Click Send to post the reply to the platform.
Use the checkmark above the thread to mark the comment as done. Done comments move to the Done tab.
The icons next to a comment like, hide or delete it on the platform. Not every action is available on every platform.

Step 5: Create your first automation
Once you like the suggestions, let replient.ai answer for you. In the sidebar, click Automations → Comment Automations (1), then Add Automation (2).
Choose Comment automation and pick a starter, for example Hide negative comments or Start from scratch. Every starter opens in the editor first. Nothing goes live before you click Save.
⚠️ Important: A saved automation is active right away and runs on every new comment that matches. Start with a narrow rule, for example one keyword such as "price", and check the first results before you add broader rules.
