Short answer: replient.ai sends reminders about open comments, notices about disconnected channels, emails about mentions and assignments, emails from your automations, and account emails. You control most of them in Settings → Notifications. A few account emails, such as sign-in and billing emails, are always on.
Which emails you get
Who gets it | When | How to turn it off | |
Open comments reminder | The brand owner and teammates who can see comments | When more unread, open comments than your limit (default 10) are waiting. Sent once, and again only after the number has dropped below the limit. | Notifications tab, or for the whole brand on the Learning page |
Channel disconnected | The brand owner | When a channel has to be reconnected. Reminders follow after 3, 7 and 14 days if it is still disconnected (paid plans get one more after about two months). | Notifications tab |
Mentions | The teammate who is mentioned | When a teammate mentions you in a note. At most one email every 10 minutes for the same comment or conversation. | Notifications tab |
Assignments | The teammate who gets the item | When a teammate assigns a comment or a conversation to you. At most one email every 10 minutes for the same item. | Notifications tab |
Automation emails | You, or the addresses you enter | When an automation runs the action Send email notification | In the automation itself |
Credit usage | The account owner | When you have used 80%, 90% and 100% of your monthly credits. Once per billing period. | Always on |
Account emails | Everyone | Sign-in codes, password resets, team invitations, changed permissions, ownership transfers, invoices, notices about inactive accounts and "New brand ready" | Always on |
Step 1: Open the notification settings
Click your name at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Account. Then open the tab Notifications (1).
Step 2: Choose your team emails
In the section Team (2), switch Mentions and Assignments on or off. The setting applies to every brand you work on with a team. Mentions and assignments always show up under the bell in the app, even if you switch the emails off.
Step 3: Choose your emails per brand
The section Brands (3) lists every brand you own or work on. Switch Open comments and Channel disconnected on or off for each brand. A dash means you don't get this email for that brand. The channel email goes to the brand owner only.
The switches are saved right away. Your colleagues keep their own settings.
Change the limit of the open comments reminder
Open the brand and click Learning in the sidebar.
Under the general settings, find the line Send me an email reminder if i have more than ... unanswered comments.
Click the number (1), type a new limit and press Enter. With the switch (2) you turn the reminder off for the whole brand.
You need the permission Manage learning for the brand. If the reminder is off for a brand, the Notifications tab shows Off for this brand and a Change link.
Emails from automations
Automations can email you. Add the action Send email notification to a comment automation, or the step Send Email Notification to a DM automation. Under Send to, choose Self for the email address of the brand owner, or Custom and enter one or more addresses. These emails are not listed in the Notifications tab. To stop them, remove the action from the automation or switch the automation off.
Good to know
Where do the emails come from? Reminders, automation emails and billing emails come from [email protected]. Mention and assignment emails come from a no-reply address of replient.ai. If they don't arrive, check your spam folder.
Reconnect fast: after about 14 days without a connection, replient.ai stops listening for new comments of that channel until you reconnect it.
