replient.ai is showing a banner to reconnect my Facebook or Instagram Channel.
We are showing this banner, if your connection via the Meta Business Suite to Instagram or Facebook is not working as expected.
This might happen if:
You did not allow all permissions in the flow (see below how to fix it)
You did change your Facebook account password
Facebook invalidated your connection due to other security reasons (access from other location, etc.)
Here is how to reconnect and granting all permissions:
Click on "Reconnect" on the banner (or the 3 dots in the Learning-Tab for the inactive channel and click on "reconnect")
You will be redirected to facebook and ensure you click "edit previous settings" (most important step!!):
Then for each step select the first option: "All pages and future pages" when granting permissions
βVerify you have admin access to the pages
You will be redirected back to replient and then the banner will disappear.
My pages aren't showing up when I connect Facebook
Solution:
Disconnect your Facebook account
Reconnect and ensure you select "edit previous settings"
βThen for each step select the first option: "All pages and future pages" when granting permissions
βVerify you have admin access to the pages
Expired tokens are now automatically refreshed, so this should happen less often. If issues persist, check your Facebook role on the page. Admin Access is required to Facebook Pages, Instagram Pages and Ad Accounts.
I'm not receiving comments from TikTok
Recent fix: TikTok comments are now imported even when webhooks are missing, improving reliability.
If still not working:
Verify your TikTok account is connected in the Learning tab
Check that you granted all necessary permissions
Reconnect your account
If the issue persists please send a screenshot of the missing comment from your TikTok App, so we can get onto it fast.
Instagram/Facebook connection is failing
Check these:
Did you recently change your password? You'll need to reconnect
Are you getting email notifications about expired tokens? Follow the reconnection link
Try disconnecting and reconnecting with full permissions
My automations aren't working correctly
Check the Activity Protocol: Each comment shows which automation was triggered (or why it wasn't). This is the fastest way to diagnose issues.
